You should save Feynriel from his literal demons on this quick secondary quest in to the Fade. If you need help dealing with the demons or deciding what to complete with Feynriel, just look here for a lot of quick advice.
A surprisingly quick quest, with many different options. You can get this by reading the letter you obtain after helping Feynriel in Wayward Son. You need to rescue him from your Fade, or cut some deals with demons.
You must talk to Feynriel's mother, Arianni, by her home within the Elven Alienage. Talk to her and accept to help to be studied into her home. Keeper Marethari will show up and definately will quietly say to you that you need to probably just kill Feynriel should you fear that he'll be possessed, that is a choice that we'll arrive at at the end.
Agree to get in the Fade to get started on the mission. Note that in the event you want to be friends with Merrill, just leave her behind. You'll get a lots of rivalry and things is not going to go well. On the flip side, Anders is often a loyal killing machine, if you don't want to side with the demons. Overall the combat itself isn't too challenging. Primarily, you will need a versatile party. You'll be as a result of two members at the conclusion, so don't leave loose links within the party.

Start by approaching Torpor, the sloth demon. Merrill may be the only one who aspires you to consider his offer. Aveline, Fenris and Anders will gain plenty of rivalry in the event you agree. If Anders is inside party if you try to cut the deal, Justice arrive out and attack you. You'll need to kill him. He's a mage, so any fighter can probably gang through to him and provide him down quickly. Note that killing him here isn't permanent, he'll just wake outside.
Killing Torpor isn't that hard. He doesn't have many guards anf the husband's simply a sloth demon. The full force of your respective party should just rip him to shreds.
If you consent to the deal, you've still got to do some preparation work, so things will work out the same.
There are 3 rooms left. Two, the marked ones, have demons. The third has a few puzzles. They're fairly basic barrel puzzles.
The other is a room having a floating book. If you go through the book, it's going to fall down and you will be able to read it. Just wait inside the center of the area and snap it up when it stops.
The barrel puzzles can be a little tricky. The first has three small barrels and four large ones. You must move the little ones up on top in the large ones inside an undeclared limit. If you hit it, the puzzle locks and you are clearly attacked by the rage demon and two shades. The other requires you to get a stack of 4 red inside the center from the other ten. If you're having problems getting them in the right position, don't be concerned too much. You only receive a total of three attribution points for solving them, so it's not exactly vital.

The demons aren't too tricky either. In the space labeled, Feynriel's Desires, you will discover a desire demon, Caress, deceiving Feynriel into believing he's along with his father. Use either road to convince him it is a lie, and after that engage the demon. Caress will tempt either Aveline or Isabela. This will happen regardless of the relationship, this means you will even happen with Aveline if she's gotten over her husband (for the reason that scripting is bad).
If one too betrays you, you must kill them. Just like with Anders/Justice, it's no real influence on them. They'll have a good bit of health, but neither one of these should be a true nightmare. Aveline probably will not have that great of an attack, and Isabela won't have much armor. They should go down very quickly if your party attacks them together.
The desire demon isn't anything special. Just take her out with your fighter whilst the rest assist and run crowd control. It should be over shortly.
A rage demon and a few shades will probably be waiting inside center room when you take out one with the demons, so go down and take care of it. It should you need to be a repeat of your fight with Torpor.

The other room, Feynriel's Pride, has a pride demon, Wryme. Follow either way to break Feynriel in the hypnosis, and then engage Wryme. He can tempt Varric, Fenris or Merrill, in spite of their friendship level or should you've advanced their quests.
This should actually just be a repeat with the first. Even though Wryme is often a pride demon, he doesn't seem to accomplish much that's special. Just quickly gain high on your bewitched party member to pay off the field, after which kill the pride demon.
Take whoever's left with you to the front hall. Feynriel will probably be waiting there and you'll should finish things up.

If you decided to work with Torpor, speak with Feynriel and follow the path in places you tell him that it's only a dream. Torpor will give you your reward once you're done. If you've were built with a change of heart, he'll attack at this point you. The reward will either be 2 attribute points, the power point or two unique protection runes.
If you need to help Feynriel, try to be calm and explain some of what's happened. If possible, and should you really only want to help him, don't spanish speaking (Www.actnowcenter.com) be sure he understands about the demons. Tell him that they controls the planet and allow him to figure out how to make the exit on his own. He'll be sure of his abilities using this method, and that he won't even ask one to kill him. Keeper Marethari will hand that you simply priceless Elven tome...that is just vendor trash. You can sell it for 70 silver, and that is it.
If you make sure he understands about the demons almost possessing him, he'll ask which you make him a tranquil. You can choose this option if you want, but there's no real reward correctly. It only utilizes role playing purposes for pro-templar people.
Leave the Fade and handle your choices. Companions who betrayed you will acquire a quest in which they'll apologize for your requirements, or at least discuss their reasons.
